What’s happening now?

The Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA) licence the Coral Star to carry passengers from 1st April to 30 October. The new season is just around the corner.

She is In the River Yar Boatyard getting ready for the 2019 season

She is out of the water for her annual maintenance period now and has had her first MCA survey, The Surveyer found so little to report he put in that the weed trap had weed in it, the weed trap is checked every day when we are in service. She has two MCA surveys every year, next one in May .

The Skipper is  driving  a 45m mud barge for the winter, he was working in Yarmouth Harbour during November, now working in Cowes.

Funny enough the  barge he is skipper of is called the “Needles”.
